John's Magnolias

John was born in 1987.  He was given a magnolia tree by his adopted grandmother as a special marker of his birth.  The tree was planted by his parents in the front yard of their St. Paul, Minnesota home and for nearly three decades the tree offered up incredible blossoms every Spring.  People driving by would quite often stop and ask if they could take pictures of this magnificent tree in boom.  By 2015 this tree had grown to be some twenty-five feet in height and width. But the tree's health suddenly took a downturn and by 2017, the year John married Samara, the tree died.  On August 30, 2020 John and Samara were blessed with a daughter.  She was named Magnolia.
